From residential homes to small offices and churches, Lorraine has used her design talents to meet the needs of her clients since 2000 when Lorraine Interiors formally began. She welcomes smaller projects and specializes in paint color consultations. She received her formal training from Heritage School of Interior Design.

For 31 years she has been happily married to her husband, Steve, and together they have three boys and two daughter-in-laws. Some of her favorite hobbies are family dinners, taking walks with friends, leading a women's group, eating popcorn, and forever "editing" her own home.

Lorraine jumped into the  interior design business because she loves being at home and feels that a comfortable, beautiful home is very important in the life of a family. It sets the mood for great family dynamics. This is also true for commercial spaces, setting the mood for good relationships among co-workers as well as with customers. Her basic approach to design is "to blend the old and well-loved with the new and practical".

Convenience

Often, the hardest part of a project is getting started or getting finished.  Lorraine will work with you to accomplish both if needed. Appointments are set up in your home or office, making if very easy and convenient for you.

Design Fees

Many designers choose to hide their fees.  Lorraine charges $100 an hour. The initial consultation is collected at the time of service in the form of check or cash and the appointment must be a minimum of 1 1/2 hours. If the appointment takes less than that there will be a $150 fee charged regardless.  Trip charges are incurred for anything over 15 miles from the Lorraine Interiors office.

A further explanation of fees will be discussed at the first appointment with a written explanation handed to you so that you will know what to expect.
